Udhaar (credit) rules
How credit limits, khata and repayment work.
Credit ("udhaar") is given at our discretion to shops with a clean payment record.
- Every shop has a credit limit set by the admin. Orders that would take you past the limit must be paid by cash or UPI.
- A credit order is debited to your khata the moment the order is placed. A cancellation or return reverses that debit.
- A cash-on-delivery order is debited to your khata on delivery. Cash collected by the rider is credited the same day; any shortfall stays as udhaar.
- Payments are applied to your oldest unpaid order first.
- Keep your khata clear within the agreed period. Accounts with long-pending dues may lose credit and be moved to prepaid.
- Your khata and every entry in it are visible in the app at any time. Raise a dispute within 7 days of an entry.
